    Here is a Starrett No. 657D magnetic base. This base is in excellent used condition with no initials or engravings anywhere on it. It has been used so you will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness of this tool. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily and "sticks" solidly on any smooth steel surface. This base has a vertical reach of about 17" and a horizontal reach of about 8 3/4"". This base is a few inches larger that its smaller brother 657AA. (see the last photo, not included) This American made magnetic base is ready to go back to work and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox.
