The indicator's feel through it range of motion is silky smooth with no lock ups or bumps in the travel between min and max.
The indicator needle returns to the same resting position after each movement.
There are no hidden blemishes or issues on/with omitted from the photos.  What you see is what you get and can be confident an online purchase won't arrive with surprises.
Why are your prices sometimes higher than others?
I don't sell junk.  If it doesn't work, look, and have the right 'feel' it doesn't get offered to you.  Yes, I have a graveyard of misfit mics, indicators, and calipers that will never be offered for sale.
I describe and photograph my offerings fully and accurately, sometime to my detriment I'm sure.  However, in 10 years of doing this, I've never had a return or issue to resolve after purchase.
