Description

This Black Rhino is most easily distinguished from its cousin the White Rhino by its pointed upper lip, which is adapted for browsing. Sadly, both species are being depleted by poachers who kill them for their "medicinally powerful" horns.
This Rhino is molded in Pellucida, our proprietary resin compound that resembles Bisque porcelain, but is more durable. (We also have a realistically painted White Rhino.)
Mounted on a polished burlwood slab, the piece is about 9 inches long and 5 inches high.
