This is a lovely English Blackthorn wood wand pendant made from a piece of knotted Blackthorn wood we found near Glastonbury, Uk - the ancient Isle of Avalon
The pendant measures about 4.25 inches in length, and comes with a generous length of waxed cord hung with an upcycled bone bead.
it's an unusual pendant and also a perfect, small wand to travel with.
Blackthorn can be a challenging tree to work with!
It grows in thickets with long thorns and small, sour berries called Sloes, and produces small white flowers early in the spring before the tree comes into leaf.
However, despite it's reputation, it has powerful protective quantities and will support you in work to shift and dissipate negative energies, curses and hexes (while also having the power to work to create those things).
