    Description

    This adapter can be used to supply external power to an HP active probe so the probe can be used on a Tektronix oscilloscope or other brand that doesn't have the proper interface to the probe. I made this myself and used it on an HP 1152A probe to interface to a Tektronix scope. All I needed was +/- 12V. This may be all that's needed for other active probes but your scope probably won't be able to automatically ID the model probe connected (check your probe manual).
    One side connects to the probe plug. The other side has convenient pins allowing you to clip to any of the 9 pins on the probe plug (a tenth pin is for ground). You then just use a coax cable to connect to your scope.
    Appears to be compatible with HP 1130A, 1131A, 1132A, 1134A, 1152A, 1156A, 1157A, 1158A, 1168B, and 1169A active probes. Please examine the pictures carefully.
