Description
The P500CF Probe presents low input capacitance with minimum attenuation. It was originally developed to work with the Type 524AD Oscilloscopes or equivalent. This is a Vintage probe...circa mid to late 50's. Needs 128 power supply or equivalent.It requires +120 VDC for the plate supply and +6.3 VDC for the tube filament.
NOTE: The Probe for sale is in the plastic bag from the factory. The probe shown in the first page photo is to help illustrate what you get and not part of the sale.
Characteristics:
Gain: Probe Approximately 0.8 attenuation
Input Impedance:
Probe: 40 Megohms shunted by 4 uuf
With 10X head: 10 Megohms shunted by 2 uuf
Frequency Response:
High: Additional 1/2 db down at 10 MHz with scope set for Normal
response. Additional 2% down at 5 MHz with scope set for
FLAT response.
Low: 3db down at 5 Hz
Amplitude Distortion:
Probe: less than 3% for unidirectional signals up to 5 v amplitude
With 10X head: Up to 50 v amplitude
Hum Level: Less than 1.5 millivolts (1 mm of deflection at maximum sensitivity)
