Description
This is a beautiful,
“slider”
uncirculated, extremely low mintage, sterling silver,
“Fifty Cent”
piece
from Canada. It is one of just 120,000 pieces struck in 1902 during the first full year of the reign of Edward VII. He was King of Great Britain from January 22, 1901 until his death on May 6, 1910.
Canada struck these 50¢ coins for Edward each year from 1902 until 1910. In the last year they slightly changed the leaves on the reverse and produced the only variety of the series.
Weight: 11.61 Grams, 29.72 Millimeters, .925 Silver. Mintage: 120,000.
As a comparison, the famous 1909-S V.D.B. Lincoln Cent had a mintage of 484,000 pieces.

The Coin:
A close examination reveals some slight
“rub”
on the high spots and it has a few marks. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
